FDA - Food and Drug Administration
The FDA (Food and Drug Administration) is a department within the United States government specialising in the safety and security of most food, medicine and water supply. Materials that are approved by the FDA are suitable to come into contact with food, medicines and water products intended for human consumption.
These so-called FDA approvals are also accepted in large part of the European Union.
